Revision Policy

Every engagement comes with a clear, structured revision process. This page explains exactly what's included, how revisions work, and what to expect from start to finish.

What's Included

Every package — Early Career, Senior & Staff, and Executive — includes two full rounds of revisions at no additional cost.

A revision round means a complete review of your feedback followed by a full update to the resume document. Each round gives you the opportunity to request changes to wording, structure, bullet point framing, emphasis, or any other element that doesn't feel right.

Two revision rounds is sufficient to arrive at a final document that accurately reflects your experience and is positioned for the level you're targeting.

How the Revision Process Works

After receiving your first draft, you will have 7 days to submit your revision requests. Feedback should be specific — the clearer your notes, the stronger the revision.

After the first revision is delivered, you will have a further 7 days to submit your second and final round of feedback.

Revision requests submitted after the 7-day window may be accommodated at Javid's discretion but cannot be guaranteed within the standard delivery timeframe.

What Counts as a Revision

A revision covers changes to the content, structure, framing, and positioning of your resume based on your feedback. This includes rewording bullet points, reordering sections, adjusting the emphasis on specific roles or projects, and refining the overall narrative.

A revision does not cover a complete change of direction — for example, switching your target role or industry after the work has begun. Significant strategic changes of this nature may require a new engagement.

After Both Revisions

If after both revision rounds you feel the final document still doesn't meet the standard we agreed on, reach out directly at hello@javidsadat.com.
